Flood Prevention Working Group

A meeting of the Parish Councl's new Flood Prevention Working Group has been organised for 7pm on Thursday 11th February.  The meeting will be held on the Zoom platform, and if you would like to attend you can request an electronic inivitation from the Parish Clerk by e-mailing kinnerleyparishcouncil@gmail.com. Professor Mark Barrow, Executive Director of Place for Shropshire Council, and Adam Lines of the Environment Agency, will be in attendance to answer questions about the flood prevention plans linked to the Shrewsbury North West Relief Road proposals.

PLEASE NOTE THAT UNDER GOVERNMENT COVID 19 RESTRICTIONS THERE MAY BE A LIMIT TO THE NUMBERS WHO ARE ALLOWED TO ATTEND MEETINGS HELD IN PERSON.  ALL MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC ATTENDING A MEETING WILL BE EXPECTED TO FOLLOW STRICT PROTOCOLS IN RELATION TO COVID SAFETY.  THESE WILL BE CLEARLY OUTLINED ON THE AGENDA FOR THE MEETING.

Members of the Public and Press are welcome to attend any meetings of the Parish Council or its Committees, although there are occasions when meetings must go into private session when dealing with matters of a confidential nature.

Speaking at a Meeting - The agenda for each Parish Council meeting includes a 'Public Participation' item where any member of the public may ask a question related to the agenda or wider parish matters.  Members of the public may not speak at other times in the meeting unless you are invited to do so by the Chairman or Clerk.
